Job profile - Software technician

The ideal candidate has a Mechatronic Engineering or Automation degree, or an Electronic Industrial graduate; the resource has gained a previous experience in the Software Dept.  of Industrial Automation Companies (packaging, automation and robotics). We also assess candidates at the first job experience with basic knowledge in logical and electrical programming and with a strong propensity for professional growth.

He/She has excellent knowledge of PLC and PANEL VIEW (HMI) SIEMENS – ROCKWELL – OMRON; ROBOT FANUC - ABB – KUKA programming; Safety devices programming (Siemens Rockwell, Reer, Sick); Drive Management Siemens, Rockwell, Danfoss, SEW; Industrial network (Profinet – Profibus – Ethernet IP – DEVICENET).

We require, an excellent knowledge of English language written and spoken, and the availability for travelling.

When any travel is not planned, the resource will work in the manufacturing area of our HQ plant (in Italy) for systems assembly and testing.

The resource will work in the Software Dept., managed by the PC&IS Manager and he’ll be responsible for PLC and HMI programming, report drafting; realization of graphical interfaces; internal testing; testing at customer plant and customer's team training activities; Remote assistance.
