The LIGHTNING BOLT series is an automatic high-level infeed palletizing system with mobile pallet with pallet changeover at height and 90° layer transfer. The infeed area has a double infeed conveyor which is followed by the preforming table where two robotic manipulators (M1 M2) place the product in the correct position to form the rows for palletization. The palletization head is equipped with lateral layer squaring guides and an unloading surface which opens in two to unload the row onto the pallet. In order to reach a speed of 10 layers/minute, a specific system for pallet changeover at height has been designed. This new system works alongside the palletizing process by taking an empty pallet at a height below the unloading surface when pallet changeover is requested. In this way the palletizing process is not interrupted. The LIGHTNING BOLT palletizer can be integrated with PF80 stretch wrapping machine with rotary ring and pallet labeling system.
